Juicing fruits and vegetables for beauty and better health first became popular a few decades ago, but there has been a recent increase in popularity within the last few years. If you use a blender, the entire fruit or vegetable is turned into juice, resulting in more of a smoothie texture that also maintains the food’s fiber content. Juicing proponents are divided on which method of juicing is best, so you may want to research these two options further to see which is right for you.
